About the Founder

Anas Tarsin

Anas Tarsin is the founder and creative force behind My Lil’ Ummah, a faith-centered children’s publishing initiative devoted to inspiring Muslim children through powerful storytelling. As a father of three, Anas understands the challenges that today’s digital world brings, where constant entertainment, overstimulation, and misinformation are just a click away. He noticed how the noise of the internet was slowly drowning out the calm, purposeful voices children need to hear the voices of truth, faith, and moral clarity.

Driven by love for his children and a deep desire to preserve their connection to Islam, Anas set out to create something different. Something beautiful. Something lasting.

With a lifelong passion for art, storytelling, and Islamic heritage, he began writing and producing visually stunning books that bring the stories of the Prophets and other Islamic values to life. Each book features high-quality Pixar-style illustrations, carefully selected Qur’anic verses, and lessons drawn from the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, woven together in a way that’s engaging, age-appropriate, and spiritually meaningful.

Anas believes children deserve more than fleeting content. They deserve stories that anchor them in their identity as Muslims, nurture their character, and guide them gently toward Allah. Through My Lil’ Ummah, he is building a library of literature that does just that —empowering the next generation to grow up with heart, purpose, and faith in a world that often pulls them in the opposite direction.

Whether you’re a parent, teacher, or community leader, Anas invites you to be part of this journey to raise a generation of children who know their stories, love their faith, and walk confidently as young members of the Ummah.
